One week till Christmas

Can I tell you how excited I am for Christmas to get here. Even though we have already had our celebration, I am dying to get on a plane and fly to WI to see my In Laws.........

I am a little nervous for the plane trip with all the children, but other than that, I am STOKED!!

I can't wait to sit by the fire, drink something alcoholic, and hand the kids over and just be. I want to walk on glass lake and watch all the drunks Ice fish and tell their great fishing tales of the "one that got away". I want to have coffee at that tiny diner called Cathy's with my Hubby sans Kids.

I want to cook, and talk and laugh, and just feel like part of the family that has embraced me with everything they have.

I am excited. Its 6 days from today.

Ok, so the sun was shining and I was doing the dishes and Olly was playing in the highchair. I turned and looked and for some reason the sun shining down on him was so cute. So I took a ton of Pictures. So Of course I will share.

Friends

I have had few friends in my life. I am talking the true friends, the ones you can tell your deepest darkest thoughts to. The ones that would cover up for you even if you killed someone friends. I have one of those. I love her. Her name is Yo. We have been friends for almost 5 years now. I would not trade her for the world. Although, I do think that J could use a little "less" of her. Not because he does not like her, But Yo and and I turn into 14 year old girls when we are around one another. I even have pictures to prove it.

The tale of a rocking chair!!















I have rocked all Three of my children in that poor beatup rocking chair, but it is still a Huge part of our family.... Even if it is 13 years old.

So, I think I have the hang of this.

So, I have been playing with this thing today, and it seems as I may have this blog thing figured out!!

So I will try my hardest to stay with this one.

I really only want a blog for Nana and Papa to have a place to come and see their grandchildren everyday. That way they can keep up with us too!!

Today.

Today starts the day. that I will join in with everyone else, and start a blog. Not that my days are exciting or anything, but with 3 or 4 kids running around it can be fun.

I am also going to do a picture a day. So maybe like the 365 days of the Nicks...... Hmmm, this could be fun!!!

So for today, not much to say..... I am going to figure this thing out, and in the mean time, I will post a picture for your viewing pleasure.
